Munich is Germany’s third largest city and the capital city of the
State of Bavaria in the South of Germany. On a clear day the Alps can be seen from Munich.

The Townhall and Frauenkirche are right in the city centre, of a very scenic city with a long tradition. The
city was founded in
1158 by Henry, Duke of Saxony. The city was largely destroyed during World War II, but has been carefully rebuilt to combine modern architecture with historic symbols of an eventful past.

I live in the southern outskirts of Munich - along the river Isar valley - which has some great cycling
trails and beergardens!
Munich is a great place to live with its winter and summer seasons. In Winter the Alps are just an hour
away, whilst in summer the Beergardens are just a cycle away.
